We’re the Bomb!! We got {DOT} COM’D!!

It’s only Tuesday night!! sheesh! Where is the time going??

Welp, I’m totally excited to share on this rain congested night, a surprise that is big to the blogosphere. Yup, it’s official. We are now a dot-com. LOL!!!  I love writing that!

Every aspiring blogger’s anticipated dream is for readers to click the link to their blog and not be just another WordPress website, but for it to say {their blog name} and end with a dot-com. Uhhhh don’t get me wrong, WordPress has had my back or butt… (yes I laughed and I totally got the joke, did you?… nevermind Bad Joke.) for some time through my beginning stages of blogging.  I appreciate that! But now that people actually like to read what I put on this thinger-mer-jig, I figured it was time to step up to the screen. (LOL!…ok bad joke) And thanks to pinterest my blog receives more traffic than it used to.

Pinterest….My thoughts? It’s the greatest thing ever created. Like an online brain. Why didn’t I think of that??

Anyway I’m so excited! And I have so much in store for this year and so much to share!

It is a big encouragement to see the hits and feedback on my blog. Thank you!

With that being said, I’d like to share a funny story that has been getting me through this week.

So in my quest to share with my children the message of the cross, I have been graced with a few moments of encouragement through laughter from my kid hero. We’ve been trying to really get the idea of talking with God and developing relationship with him.

He got in trouble for something (I don’t remember what) and was pouting and moping around after our nighttime devotion. I felt bad for the young man because he had his privileges revoked for the week. (aaaah parenting)

So this is how our conversation went:

Me: God will hear you when you speak. Sometimes he doesn’t always speak back but he will hear every word that comes from your mouth if you tell him. He even knows your thoughts. So, I know you just got in trouble but tell him what’s on your mind. Let him know what hurts you. And how you feel about being in trouble.

Kid Hero: Mom, he didn’t speak back.

Me: Well, he doesn’t always. Maybe he’s thinking.

Kid Hero: Mom, I think he’s taking a nap.

LOL!

Picture that! I couldn’t help but laugh and to raise my hands and say thank you Lord for never taking a nap. Could you imagine where we all would be if God slept on his promises? Goosebumps. I don’t even wanna know.

Enjoy your week!
