Here’s what you’ll need:
Salt
Chalk
Food grater
Fun jars to create
paper plates to put salt or sugar on to be colored (we used ten)
Instructions:
Place mounds of salt to be colored on each paper plate.
Take chalk and grate in the smallest shredding option over the salt. Let the kids mix it in with their hands. Then you’re done! Pour into old jars or plastic water bottles and create your colored sand mix!

Very nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed
surfing around your blog posts. After all I’ll
be subscribing to your feed and I hope you write again soon!
Thank you for stopping by Brandie and subscribing. I hope you will find encouraging things here and maybe even laugh a little at my corny ways.
Blessings to you friend!
